Clontz will strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the community through expanded community policing initiatives, increased officer presence in high-need areas, and transparent reporting on public safety outcomes.

Clontz believes that strong schools, accessible services, and economic opportunity are the foundation of a healthy community. The mayor's office will be a partner — not a barrier — to families building their futures in Berea.
- Partner with Berea College and local schools to expand youth programs
- Support affordable housing initiatives for working families
- Expand access to city services for seniors and people with disabilities

Transparent Government
City Hall should work for residents — and residents should know how it works.
Clontz will bring a new standard of openness and accountability to the mayor's office — publishing clear budgets, holding regular town halls, and making it easy for every resident to engage with their local government.
- Publish a clear, plain-language city budget annually
- Hold quarterly town halls in every neighborhood
- Create an online portal for tracking city projects and spending
- Establish an independent ethics oversight committee
